Should I Work as a Project Manager?

Have you ever tried working as a virtual assistant? Well, a virtual assistant’s job is all encompassing. Even if you were initially hired to work as a writer, you may eventually get trained for other tasks. As the scope of a business expands, so will your work as a VA.

But how does a virtual assistant coordinate with a client? Basically, a project manager acts as the mediator between the client and the VA. It is the project manager who has direct contact with the client and through her, all tasks are assigned. She then delegates the tasks to the VAs under her network.

A project manager needs to be understanding of the VAs different personalities and must also be sympathetic. Of course, if there is a need to lay a foot down, she must be able to do so too. I have seen a lot of openings for Project Manager Jobs and to tell you quite frankly, I have been enticed to apply for the position. But I still need to mull it over.
